The Donau, Tirol and Bayern

Welcome to our latest trip! We will take a cruise on the Donau River (Danube) from Budapest, Magyarország (Hungary), through Österreich (Austria) to Regensburg in Bayern (Bavaria), which is southern Deutschland (Germany). Once we disembark we will visit Viktor Slepovitch, a Belarusian friend who immigrated to Regensburg, and then on to tour Tirol (western Österreich) and Bayern for a week in the company of Manfred Groß, a long-time German friend. So exciting! I visited Bayern and Tirol as a teenager when we lived in England, but Glenn has never been to Europe. He chose the cruise and I added the following week’s touring. We are so very thankful for my brother and sister-in-law who will dog and house sit while we travel.
